SAUDI NATL WATER INKS SAR1B DEAL TO SUPPLY WATER TO JABAL OMAR PROJ

Saudi Arabia's state-run National Water Co. has signed an agreement to provide a daily supply of 36,000 cubic meters of treated water over the next 30 years to Saudi Tabreed generating a revenue of about 1 billion Saudi riyals ($266.6 million). The water will be used in the district cooling system of the Jabal Omar development project in Mecca.

SAUDI ARABIAN AIRLINES TO OPERATE MORE AIRCRAFT IN 2012

State-owned Saudi Arabian Airlines will be operating more aircraft in 2012 to overcome seat shortages. It is now in the process of leasing 34 aircraft to cover its domestic and international flights. In 2012 the airline will also operate new airplanes that it had recently purchased.
