RIYADH -- Saudi Airlines Catering Company officially unveiled its prestigious new welcome lounge at King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) in Riyadh. The new lounge continues the themes of luxury, comfort and outstanding hospitality, ensuring a seamless passenger experience.

The formal ceremony was attended by top executives of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), the management of King Khalid International Airport and Saudi Airlines Catering Company.

The new lounge comes as part of Saudi Airlines Catering Company's new plan to expand, strengthen and diversify the services offered to its valued travelers.

Extending over more than 1,200 square meters and located conveniently at the 2nd terminal at King Khalid International Airport, the new suite of lounge features an innovative zonal concept for the comfort and convenience of Saudi Airline's business and first class guests.

Tariq Al-Abduljabbar, President's Deputy for Airports at GACA, praised the efforts of Saudi Airlines Catering Company and its keenness to provide integrated services at the highest levels of quality and sophistication, especially services of passenger terminals, which come within the framework of development projects and plans that related GACA's objectives.

Meanwhile, Wajdy Mohammed Al Ghabban, chief executive officer of Saudi Airlines Catering Company, said the company depends on strategies to strengthen its role as a national company in achieving Saudi Arabia 2030 vision and contributes to strengthening GACA' strategies by diversifying sources of income, and the exploitation of its unique geographical location of the Kingdom.

"We are delighted to be welcoming our First Class and Business Class customers into this newly superb new lounge and to be setting new standards for airport hospitality. The exclusivity and refinement of this lounge perfectly complement our vision for Saudi airlines," Al Ghabban said.
