City-wide promotions across leading Fashion, Make-Up and Dining brands

Leading international retail franchise operator M.H. Alshaya Co. has put '20' at the heart of a blitz of activities across a wide range of clothing, make-up and dining brands across Dubai as it joins in the 20th anniversary celebrations of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF).

Alshaya operates more than 70 of the world's most recognised retail brands, including Starbucks, H&M, Mothercare, Debenhams, American Eagle Outfitters, P.F. Chang's, The Cheesecake Factory, Victoria's Secret, Boots and Pottery Barn. The company operates over 2,600 stores across Fashion & Footwear, Health & Beauty, Food, Optics, Pharmacy, Home Furnishings and Leisure & Entertainment. 

Headlining the Health & Beauty bill for DSF is Arab TV celebrity George Kordahi, who is doing 'meet and greet' sessions at several Debenhams Cosmetics counters from 15th to 19th January, adding some superstar glamour to cosmetics promotions during the month.

A number of fashion brands managed by Alshaya are running a '20 Days of Joy' programme, while hungry shoppers can benefit from a number of special '20' themed offers during the month at a wide range of dining outlets managed by the group.

These include:

·         At Potbelly, every 20th customer receives a free cookie

·         At Pinkberry, every 20th customer gets a free gift upon purchase

·         PF Chang, Pei Wei & Katsuya all have range of starters and desserts for 20 AED

·         Shake Shack is offering a "20 days of Shake Shack Sweetness" promotion

·         Le Pain Quotidien (LPQ) is offering a free 'dessert of the day with every lunch or dinner order

·         For coffee lovers, Starbucks has special collector's edition DSF tumblers for sale

The Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) says the wholehearted support of leading retailers like Alshaya is critical to the continuing success and popularity of DSF.

The Media Centre of DFRE, said: "Alshaya is one of the region's most important and largest retail groups, and we are very pleased at the way they have captured the theme and excitement of this year's anniversary festival.  We know customers are enjoying the many and varied offers they are promoting during the month and we would like to them for their continuing support of DSF."

Commenting on their 20th themed approach for the anniversary festival, an Alshaya spokesperson said: "The annual Dubai Shopping Festival represents everything that is great about Dubai's exciting retail scene. We wanted to offer our customers a broad range of themed promotions to show our support for DSF and are delighted to bring a range of special '20' promotions which celebrate the Festival's 20-year milestone."
