The Dubai based independent advertising agency network is one of the first DMCC member companies to join the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative.

Dubai, January 23, 2020 - Encouraged by DMCC to join the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), AMC has become part of the initiative. DMCC’s active support of the international initiative falls in line with its vision to support the UAE's national sustainability agenda.

AMC has officially signed up to the initiative’s ten principles in the areas of human rights, labor standards, environmental protection and fighting corruption. They will now complement the standards which are applied for evaluating all of AMC's business activities.

With more than 12,000 participants from over 145 countries, UNGC is the world’s largest joint initiative of socially committed companies and other stakeholders.

"Since AMC's inception, safety, responsibility and sustainability have always been the fundamental aspects of our corporate strategy. Joining the UN Global Compact (UNGC) is now an affirmation of that belief. We thank DMCC and its team for not only providing us a great environment to shape our business, but also secure the future by adopting sustainable and socially responsible policies", said Pierre Abou Diwan, Chairman and CEO of AMC.
