The approval of the names is part of 1,000 residential support decisions that will be announced at the end of every week of the Holy Month of Ramadan, starting from the current week, and the implementation of the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and his brother, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the monitoring of H.H. The memo states that if the other wife is not a UAE national, the period of marriage should be at least five years.

The board also approved another memo related to the eligibility of an Emirati woman who is married to a foreigner for residential support, wherein the financial support limit has been increased from AED500,000 to AED800,000 if its purpose of the support is to build or purchase a new residence.

The programme also adopted new regulations for returning or disposing of residences and approved conditions for cancelling residential support decisions at any stage, including the implementation stage. Dr. Belhaif reviewed the "Dar Zayed Smart System," which aims to coordinate the residential projects and residential neighbourhoods managed by the programme since its establishment in 1999.
