The inaugural Middle East Green Initiative Summit will convene more than 20 heads of state from across the Middle East to endorse targets against shared environmental commitments.
The Summit marks the official launch of the Middle East Green Initiative (MGI), an ambitious effort spearheaded by Saudi Arabia to scale up climate commitments and deliver against clear targets across the region.
MGI includes all GCC countries, the greater MENA region, and several countries in Central Asia. MGI will welcome additional member states from across the international community.
