Riyadh –   The Saudi healthcare sector is seeing strong demand from investors, according to health ministry official Fayyad Dandash.

Speaking on the sidelines of the Arab Health 2019 expo held in Dubai, Dandash told Al Arabiya News that the ministry expected cash inflows of around SAR 10 billion into the healthcare sector over the coming five years.

Saudi Arabia’s annual spending on the sector amounts to SAR 135 billion, he added, noting that the sector will need around 15,000 beds in the course of the coming decade.
