Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) said its board of directors has appointed Khalid bin Saleh Al-Sultan as the company’s chairman of the board and Najem bin Abdullah Alzaid as the deputy chairman.

The current board was elected during the extraordinary assembly’s meeting on 27 December 2020 for the new three-year term, which began on 21 January 2021, according to a recent bourse disclosure.

In the third quarter (Q3) of 2020, SEC reported 17.8% lower net earnings at SAR 2.2 billion, compared to SAR 2.7 billion in the year-ago period.
