State-owned property developer Nakheel has called for ground preparation proposals for PALM360, the hotel and residential tower development which will be Palm Jumeirah’s tallest structure when it is complete in 2021.

The 260 metre, two-tower project will include the 125-room Raffles The Palm Dubai Hotel, 331 Raffles-branded residences and the world’s largest sky pool connecting the two towers, according to a press releases issued on Tuesday.

A tender for the main construction works will be issued later this year and the project is scheduled for completion in 2021, the statement added.

The master developer, whose developments also include The World, Deira Islands, Discovery Gardens and Dragon Mart, currently has a hospitality project portfolio comprising 17 hotels and serviced apartment developments. Two are currently open and operational, with the rest at various stages of construction and development.
