Season six of STARZ original crime series Power opened-with stellar viewership figures in its premiere week in the MENA region, with Saudi Arabia and UAE topping the charts. STARZPLAY, the leading subscription video on demand (SVOD) service in MENA, recorded a robust 240% increase in viewership as compared to season 5 premiere, with fans catching up on previous seasons as well.

Peak viewership was seen in the first 48 hours with 12% of STARZPLAY’s total platform subscribers tuning in to watch the debut episode. KSA and UAE experienced a 55% and 85% respective spike in viewership for season 6 premiere compared to the previous season.

According to STARZPLAY, viewers’ in MENA prefer watching POWER on their big-size smart TVs- an outstanding 42% increase in TV viewership observed on the platform as compared to mobile or desktop/laptop devices.

Power also drove an exceptional 300% increase in the number of people who watched the show as their first content asset, after subscribing to STARZPLAY in its premiere week.

The third most popular show ever on STARZPLAY, subscribers can watch the award-winning visionary hit drama anytime, anywhere and on the very same day it airs in the US exclusively on STARZPLAY.

Season 6 of the STARZ Original Series picks up with James “Ghost” St. Patrick seeking vengeance. His former partner and brother in arms must pay for the ultimate betrayal.
