Cairo –  Misr Petroleum Co's exports of jet fuel, ship petrol, and oil recorded more than EGP 6 billion in fiscal year 2019/2020, Misr Petroleum Company's head, Hussein Fathy, announced on Monday.

Fathy said that the total number of the company's petrol stations reached 1,504 across Egypt, and 86 stations were developed at a total value of EGP 40 million during FY19/20, according to a statement on Monday.

He further remarked that the company has exported high-quality motor and industrial oils to Uganda and Rwanda.

Fathy noted that an aircraft fuelling station worth EGP 12 million was established at Port Said Airport.

Moreover, the company has signed a contract to set up two aircraft fuelling stations at Sphinx International Airport and the New Administrative Capital Airport.

Another contract was inked with PetroJet to establish a jet fuel storage and handling system in Badr City warehouse at a value of EGP 715 million and link the system to Cairo International Airport.
