AMMAN The Cabinet on Tuesday approved the 2020 regulations related to classifying contractors. The regulations aim at increasing the competitiveness of the Jordanian construction sectors exports to access the markets of neighbouring countries, along with enhancing the sectors value, which is an integral part of the domestic product, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The regulations were formed by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing along with the Jordan Contractors Association to address the sectors problems and support the Kingdoms construction industry, which is regarded as a major economic engine.
