Sharjah, United Arab Emirates: As part of its ongoing expansion strategy, GAC Sharjah has opened a new office in the Hamriyah Free Zone to provide a range of integrated shipping, logistics and warehousing services.

The new branch comes after the company celebrated its 50th anniversary last year and complements established operations at Sharjah’s airport and port, which also cover Ajman and Khorfakkan.

It was officially inaugurated at a ceremony attended by HE Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority, the GAC Group’s Executive Chairman and Trustee Björn Engblom, GAC Group Vice President – Middle East Fredrik Nyström, and Rajesh Moorjani, General Manager of GAC Sharjah.

Moorjani says: “We have been active in the Hamriyah Free Zone since 2017. Since then, we have witnessed strong demand for services delivered with the focus on quality and compliance, vast local knowledge and global network for which GAC is renowned. The new office will allow us to deliver even better support to our local and international clients, primarily from the energy sector.
