Fog engulfs parts of UAE, humidity to touch 90%

Fog covered parts of the UAE on Sunday morning as misty conditions prevailed in several areas.

The National Centre of Meteorology shared warning about fog formation over scattered areas, especially over internal areas with poor horizontal visibility of less than 1,000 meters.

Fog formed over Al MaktoumInternationalAirport, Al Ain Airport, Madinat Zayed , Al Minhad, said the centre.

For today's weather update, the NCM said the day will be hot in general and partly cloudy, hazy at times.

Humidity levels are expected to rise overnight and early morning over most coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog/mist formation.

Temperatures are expected to hover around the day between 36C and 43C inland, 32C to 39C along the coast, and 26C to 33C in the mountains.

Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman sea.
