ArabFinance: Egypt’s Minister of Manpower Mohamed Saafan said the private sector will be granted a five-day holiday, on the occasion of Eid el Fitr, according to the Cabinet’s statement.

The vacation will be from May 24th until May 28th.

Saafan noted that this decision comes in line with the preventive measures the state has taken in dealing with COVID-19 outbreak.

Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly announced on May 17th a nationwide curfew during Eid el Fitr.
