Dubai: China has maintained its position as Dubai's largest trade partner in the first half of 2018.

Bilateral trade between the two countries hit AED 69 billion ($18.8 billion) in the six-month period ended June, China-based Xinhua News Agency reported.

India was the emirate's second largest trade partner with a trade volume valued at AED 56 billion, followed by the US with trade worth AED 39 billion, the Chinese news platform said.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia was Dubai's biggest trade partner in the Arab world and the GCC and its fourth largest global trade partner with trades worth AED 29 billion.
