International property specialist, Chestertons, has strengthened its team with the appointment of Adam Wilson, as Head of Valuations (Dubai Office) and Director of International Valuations.

Wilson brings over 15 years of broad property and real estate valuation experience in the UK, UAE, Egyptian, Saudi Arabian, and Omani markets.

Hailing from Nottingham, UK, Wilson recently worked as an Associate for Jones Lang LaSalle in Dubai for three years, where he conducted valuations of substantial property portfolios, land banks, development land, and various operating assets including retail, offices, industrial, staff accommodation, and residential communities. He also acted as Head of Valuation Advisory for JLL in Egypt.

Having worked with key regional clients including Dubai Holding, Emaar Properties PJSC, Majid Al Futtaim, and a number of local, regional, and international banks. During the course of 2017, Wilson was also a key member of the valuations team advising on the high-profile Emaar Development IPO.

Wilson spent 10 years working as an Associate Director for FHP Property Consultants in the UK prior to joining JLL. A key area of his work was acting as Expert Witness and Single Joint Expert primarily for professional negligence claims, as well as other disputes and litigation matters. Nick Witty, Managing Director, Chestertons MENA said, “Adam’s expertise in valuations will be crucial to our continued success in this fast-paced market and I’m confident his experience working with leading multi-national corporates and financial institutions will further our standing in the region.

“He will be responsible for all international valuations, whilst also heading up the Valuation Department in the Dubai Office.”

Wilson has been a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) since 2007 and is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb).
