Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Mubadala Investment’s venture capital arm is reportedly planning to launch $400 million European fund in 2019 to invest in the technology sector.

Mubadala Ventures is collaborating with international venture capital funds to attract investments to the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the owner of Mubadala Investment.

“We will also be working with international venture funds, inviting them to come to Abu Dhabi to play a role here,” Reuters reported, citing head of Mubadala Ventures, Ibrahim Ajami, as saying.

The UAE-based company Mubadala is targeting the creation of a startup-friendly environment in Abu Dhabi, supporting startups in many fields including blockchain, healthcare, food delivery, and automotive mobility.
