Organised by the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT), the summit is aimed at finance professionals and treasurers, and open to non-members of the association.

The co-lead sponsors, Emirates NBD and HSBC will offer a series of keynote and workshop sessions exploring how technology such as Blockchain and Artificial intelligence will streamline transactions and remove the use of paper. We will explore how the digitalisation of systems in the Middle East will revolutionise the role of the treasurer and their banking partners.

The HSBC Keynote session features Ian Pettigrew, Regional Head of Innovation, Global Liquidity and Cash Management, HSBC Bank Middle East, Rajesh Garg, Group CFO, Landmark Group, Vishal Verma, Executive, Cash Management & Treasury Services, MENAT/SSA, GE, and Arun Singh, Corporate Treasurer, Aramex.

The panel will discuss structures for digital transformation and how organisations are using innovations such as blockchain, artificial intelligence and robotic process automation, and what they mean for the future.

The Emirates NBD Keynote focuses on how digitisation is revolutionising treasury while introducing the “regional insights, global perspectives” theme of the two-day summit, providing valuable insights to the Middle East treasury community.

The speakers are Sumit Aggarwal, Executive Vice President and Head of Transaction Banking, Emirates NBD and Arun Singh, Corporate Treasurer, Aramex.
