UAE: Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) has announced the training completion of its first batch of employees who took part in the tire installation and car maintenance workshops provided by the Central Trading Company, in cooperation with Michelin Middle East. The training was designed to strengthen the skills of the participants in line with DGW’s continuing efforts to improve and develop the capabilities of its employees as their work is vital to ensuring the efficiency and safety of vehicles in Dubai.

Mr. Aqeel Al Janahi, Director Mechanical Engineering Department in DGW, said: “Through training programs, we are also strengthening our partnerships with the private sector for the purpose of improving the performance of our employees and refining their skills in terms of using the latest technologies and implementing the best industry practices. This cooperation, which included providing appropriate training to DGW’s engineering maintenance department, formed part of our efforts to continue on our path of excellence by delivering services that comply with the best international standards and practices.”

He also praised the Central Trading Company for sharing its expertise and technologies with participating DGW employees, saying that enhancing their skills would continue to help ensure the efficiency and safety of vehicles in the emirate.

The event was attended by Central Trading Company General Manager, Mr. Mohamed Fathy Akl and the Director of Engineering Maintenance Department in DGW Aqeel Al-Janahi; and several DGW employees.
