Al Wathba National Insurance Co PJSC (ADX: AWNIC) announced today that it has published its first annual Corporate Sustainability Report which provides additional disclosure related to the Company's environmental, social and governance (ESG) efforts.

This demonstrates AWNIC’s commitment towards ADX initiative to drive sustainability in alignment with UAE national vision 2021, Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 and national & global efforts on adopting sustainable development goals (SDG) through all the activities in insurance value chain. The report focuses on AWNIC’s responsibilities to the community and its key stakeholders, showcasing how the company is fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace and driving the digital innovations in the insurance industry.

On this momentous occasion Mr. Bassam Chilmeran, AWNIC’s CEO commented “Over the course of the last few years, we have witnessed a paradigm shift in customer expectations with regards to technological advancement, increased regulatory requirements and commitment to society at large.
