ArabFinance: General Company for Silos and Storage (GCSS) reported a 3% Year on Year increase in its net profit in the second half of 2020, according to the unaudited financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange.

Net profit stood at EGP 50,656,991 in the July-December 2020, compared to EGP 49,218,233 achieved in the prior-year period.

GCSS distributed a cash dividend of EGP 3.45 per share for fiscal year (FY) 2019/2020.

In June, GCSS announced the budget for FY 2020/2021, targeting a net surplus of EGP 84.778 million.

GCSS is an Egypt-based company engaged in the food processing industry sector.

The company is primarily involved in the manufacture, trade, import, export, storage, package, and distribution of different types of grain and its derivatives, foodstuff, and yeast, as well as animal feed and its components.
