The submission deadline for a short film competition on water conservation has been extended.

The last date for submitting entries to the contest, ‘Domestic Water Conservation in GCC Countries’, is now February 28.

The extension is aimed at allowing more people to take part in the competition which seeks to build the skills of youth and enhance their participation in adopting water conservation to ensure sustainability.

The first three winners of the contest, organised by the Water Science and Technology Association, will be awarded BD2,500, BD1,500 and BD500.

The work must be in Arabic, and if in English translated into Arabic.

The duration of the film must be between two minutes and five minutes.

The presenter of the work must pledge that they have all the rights related to the film, and acknowledge that the association will not bear any responsibility or legal consequences in any way.
