The decision comes in line with the government’s preparations to reopen nurseries nationwide, which will be re-evaluated in two weeks to announce the resumption date.
Each day-care entity has to test the temperature of workers and children on a daily basis, while shoes will be left outside the facility, El Kabbag said.
She added that cloth toys and coloring papers are banned inside nurseries, while group activities should be reduced.
In addition, an isolation room must be included in case any of the workers or the kids show symptoms of COVID-19.
El Kabbag noted that the day-care services that want to operate have to sign a ministry’s form that includes all set conditions.
The government announced in March the closure of all child care establishments in light of the spread of coronavirus.
