The Kuwait health ministry on Thursday reported 620 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 704 recoveries.

One new death was also reported.

This takes the total number of reported cases in the country to 70,045, and recoveries to 61,610. The death toll has now risen to 469.

Nearly 3,600 new Covid-19 tests have been carried out in the country, taking the total to 522,200.

There are 7,966 active cases in the country, of which 127 are in serious condition.
