Stranded Pakistanis in the UAE are expected to start returning back home from next week as the UAE and Pakistani airlines will operate special flights once they receive a go-ahead from the government, Khaleej Times has learnt.

"Two flydubai flights, arranged by the UAE government, will be departing to Pakistan (Faisalabad and Peshawar) on April 14, 2020 carrying prisoners only. Special passengers flights for repatriation of Pakistani nationals from the UAE will start from next week," according to a tweet by the Consulate General of Pakistan, Dubai.

According to another handout from Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority, the flydubai return flight from Faisalabad will also repatriate 11 UAE embassy staff to Dubai.
