Active COVID-19 cases drop below 1,000-mark in Bahrain

Of the 998 active cases, three are receiving treatment and three are in critical condition

Bahrain yesterday recorded 117 new Covid-19 cases alongside 125 recoveries and no fatalities.

Of the new cases, 46 were expat workers, 58 contacts of local cases and 13 travel-related, the Health Ministry said.

An additional 125 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 266,921.

Of the 998 active cases, three are receiving treatment and three are in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered a total of 269,303 cases.

The kingdom has conducted 5,464,087 tests.
