407 new Covid-19 cases registered in Bahrain on Tuesday

Bahrain yesterday recorded 407 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 295 recoveries and two fatalities.

Two men – a Bahraini, 68, and an expatriate, 53, – died yesterday, taking the total number of deaths in Bahrain due to the coronavirus to 165.

The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 407 new cases, 155 were expatriate workers, 249 contacts of local cases and three travel related.

It said an additional 295 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 41,504.

Of the 3,135 active cases, 97 are receiving treatment and 38 in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered a total of 44,804 cases including active cases, recoveries and deaths.

The kingdom has also be conducted 923,342 virus tests.
