COPENHAGEN, June 19 (Reuters) - Maersk Line, a part of A.P. Moller-Maersk MAERSKb.CO , said on Monday the first container feeder service into Qatar will depart Oman on June 26, later than a planned June 19 start. ID:nC7N1FK00Q

To avoid trade restrictions imposed on Qatar by Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and others, Maersk Line said this month it would deliver cargo to Qatar by transferring containers on to smaller vessels in Oman and traveling on from there.

The first feeder shipment is expected to depart Salalah, Oman, on June 26 and arriving in Doha on June 30, Maersk said. A spokesman was not immediately able to say why the first shipment had been delayed.

Maersk Line plans to make the feeder service available every 10 days.
