AMMAN - The Cabinet on Sunday decided to postpone the implementation of the first phase of the national military service programme, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chairing a Cabinet session, Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh instructed the Jordan Food and Drug Administration to set the necessary measures to reduce the prices of medicines, as well as to draw a clear mechanism for food inspection and oversight, to avert any contradictions between the work of inspection and regulatory bodies in this arena, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
