MANAMA: Two more mosques have been closed down for one week after positive cases were discovered.

During the time teams will carry out the process of tracing contacts, sanitising the premises and ensuring that all precautionary measures are taken, said the Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry.

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry’s Public Health Department has reported eight violations as it continued its inspections to ensure full compliance with precautionary measures to fight Covid-19. The restaurants were referred to the relevant authorities for legal action.

The department on Tuesday inspected an additional 88 food and beverage establishments in its campaign to ensure public health and safety.
