Bahrain's new COVID-19 cases drop below 200 on Tuesday

Bahrain yesterday recorded 166 new Covid-19 cases alongside 419 recoveries and three fatalities.

Yesterday’s deaths bring the total fatalities to 1,351.

The Health Ministry said that of the new cases, 82 were expat workers, 80 contacts of local cases and four travel-related.

An additional 419 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 260,782. Of the 3,510 active cases, 40 are receiving treatment and 91 in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered a total of 265,643 cases.

The kingdom has conducted 5,026,404 virus tests.
