811 new COVID-19 cases, 10 fatalities registered in Bahrain

MANAMA: Bahrain yesterday recorded 811 new Covid-19 cases alongside 1,419 recoveries and 10 fatalities. Yesterday’s deaths bring the total fatalities to 1,246.

The Health Ministry said that of the new cases, 374 were expat workers, 436 contacts of local cases and one travel-related.

An additional 1,419 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 247,493.

Of the 11,595 active cases, 253 are receiving treatment and 266 in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered a total of 260,334 cases. The kingdom has conducted 4,845,013 virus tests.
