575 new COVID-19 cases registered in Bahrain on Sunday

MANAMA: Bahrain yesterday registered 575 new cases of Covid-19 alongside 922 recoveries and three fatalities.

Three Bahraini men, aged 83, 81 and 59 died yesterday, taking the total deaths to 423.

Of the new cases, 220 were expat workers, 342 contacts of active cases and 13 travel-related.

An additional 922 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 110,007. Of the 7,379 active cases, 159 are receiving treatment and 71 in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered a total of 117,809 cases. The kingdom has also conducted 2,994,188 tests.
