427 new COVID-19 cases registered in Bahrain on Wednesday

Bahrain yesterday recorded 427 new cases of Covid-19 alongside 331 recoveries and one fatality.

A 53-year-old expatriate man died of the virus yesterday, taking total deaths to 371.

Of the new cases, 190 were expat workers, 233 contacts of active cases and four travel-related.

An additional 331 people recovered, taking the total to 97,337. Of the 3,408 active cases, 59 are receiving treatment and 23 in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered a total of 101,116 cases.

The kingdom has also conducted 2,660,221 tests for Covid-19.
