More travellers will now be able to fly to Abu Dhabi without undergoing quarantine upon arrival.

The Abu Dhabi government has just updated its “green list” of countries from where passengers can travel directly without the requirement to quarantine after landing the airport.

Effective today, November 7, the list will cover at least 96 countries, according to the Abu Dhabi Media Office on Twitter. The number of destinations included in the list is up from 56 in September.

Abu Dhabi has been expanding its green list, following the reopening of borders and easing of infections in several territories worldwide.

Last September, countries in the Middle East region, including Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Jordan, were added to the list.

The “green list” is updated regularly. All travellers from countries covered in the list are  exempt from mandatory quarantine.
