United Arab Emirates: The Dubai Airport Show is, now more than ever, the reference show for those wishing to take position on airport modernization/new construction projects in the zone and meet airport operators in the Middle East. France will once again be taking part in the show in 2019, under the auspices of Business France, the national agency supporting the international development of the French economy.
Against a particularly auspicious backdrop - USD 163 bn in airport investments by 2020 in the Middle East - and no less than 12 airport construction, extension or renovation projects in the upcoming years, in the Middle East, exhibitors at the French Pavilion, will be eager to present their innovative products and know-how to buyers across the Middle East zone.
The French industry is organized into different sectors encompassing not only construction, equipment and systems, but also services, divided into 3 clusters: air traffic control and ground traffic, airline stopovers and air terminals. At the Dubai Airport Show, the French companies participating are representative of the diversity of the sector and French excellence, and already have significant presence on the global market.
France's industry for airports includes world-renowned major corporations such as ADPI, VINCI and THALES to name only a few, as well as a number of SMEs specialized in specific market segments (Ground Support Equipment, lighting, ticketing or passenger information systems). There exist nearly 180 French companies specialized in services dedicated to airlines and airports (reception services, cleaning, catering, handling, etc.).
Brought together in a National Pavilion in Za’abeel Hall 5, Stands 5340 & 5440, France's exhibitors will be representative of the sector’s diversity and French excellence:
ADP INGENIERIE : Design and overseeing of the construction of complex airport buildings (airports, terminals, passenger terminals, control towers, aircraft hangars, maintenance centres, etc.).
CHARLATTE MANUTENTION : Handling and lifting equipment, electric baggage conveyor belts.
GUINAULT : Solutions for stopping APUs on the ground and reducing the environmental impact and costs of airlines.
MILOCO : Design and manufacture of airport trailers.
TDA LEFEBURE : Specialist of connection systems for aircraft on the ground: from 400 Hz to PCA and including all utilities needed for maintenance.
usimat sermees : Design and manufacture of GSE equipment, mainly towable (towbars, aircraft servicing, handling, maintenance dollies, specific equipment).
OREP : design, manufacture and installation of perimeter protection systems (intrusion detection systems on fences, concertinas and gates).

- Air transport for passengers experienced a significant increase in 2016, with traffic up by 6.3% (3.7 billion passengers), and growth continuing into 2017.
