The weather from Thursday until Monday is expected to be fair to partly cloudy at times during the day, with the relative humidity is likely to increase during night.

The highest temperature today will hover between 33 to 44C over the coastal areas and 35 to 45C over the internal areas. The relative humidity will increase by night and early morning.

The highest temperature recorded over the country on Wednesday was 45C in Barakah at 3:00pm while lowest temperature recorded today morning was 21.3 C in Damtha at 5:30am, the weather office said.

Winds will be southeasterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, with speeds of 15-25km/hr, reaching 35km/hr in the coastal areas. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Gulf of Oman.

The NCM has also issued a five-day weather forecast fromThursday until Monday.
