DUBAI, June 12 (Reuters) - Iran named Ali Kardor as the new head of the state-run National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) on Sunday, the Oil Ministry's news agency SHANA reported.

Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh issued a decree naming Kardor as a member of the board of directors and managing director of NIOC, it said.

Kardor, who was earlier NIOC's director of investment and financing, replaces Rokneddin Javadi who had held the post since 2013.
