Riyadh -  Al Nahdi Medical Company signed a number of agreements to secure 400 million face masks to the Saudi market from the local and international suppliers.

The initiative integrates the company’s role during the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, in an effort to provide sufficient quantities of medical supplies locally especially amidst the current growing demand due to the pandemic, according to a press release on Sunday.

Moreover, the company, in coordination with the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), leased two private jets to secure the first batch of masks, amounting to 15 million, which already landed in King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah two days ago, a source from the company said.

The remaining batches will be delivered over the coming weeks.
