Combating coronavirus: RTA limits number of riders in taxis

The Road and Transport Authority has made a new announcement with regards to the number of passengers travelling in the taxis.

To maintain the safety of all passengers during their essential trips, RTA has limited the number of taxi riders to two per taxi in the rear seat of the car.

The announcement regarding the same had been made on the authority's official Twitter account.

The free parking facility in Dubai has also been extended until April 25, 2020.

According to a message from the RTA, the extension is until 11:59pm on April 25. The decision is in line with the extension of the 24-hour National Sterilisation Programme in Dubai.
