BURAIDAH — Qassim University has facilitated the departure of 562 foreign students to their respective countries. These students were stuck in Saudi Arabia due to the coronavirus pandemic and the ensuing suspension of international flights.

The students were from 56 countries from across the globe.

The repatriation was only possible after the Deanship of Student Affairs in the university coordinated with relevant authorities and pertinent airlines. Respective embassies and diplomatic missions were also notified.

As part of the exercise, the last batch consisting of 66 students of several nationalities left the Kingdom early Friday, a press statement from the university said.
