Kuwait: Held under the patronage of H.H. the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Limak participated as a sponsor of the Kuwait Aviation Show 2020 for the second consecutive term. The event featured a series of air shows, seminars, and activities in support of the aviation and aerospace sector in the Middle East, and aims to empower Kuwait to become a top competitor in the region as part of the New Kuwait Vision 2035. 

Limak welcomed a variety of visitors to its chalet at the show wherein the company presented the construction progress of Kuwait International Airport New Terminal 2 and its role managing and operating world-class airports across the world in Turkey, Kosovo, and Senegal.

Notable visitors to the chalet included the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Kuwait H.E. Ms. Ayşe Hilal Sayan Koytak, H.E. Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed, President of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) H.E. Sheikh Salman Al-Humoud, the Director-General of Civil Aviation Eng. Yousef Al Fouzan, and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Kuwait Aviation Show Mr. Ahmed Behbehani, in addition to key partners and representatives from Kuwait’s finance and business sectors.

On the sidelines of H.E. Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed’s visit, Limak İnşaat Kuwait S.P.C. Project Director Mr. Richard Meredith said: “We value the visit of H.E. Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed and the accompanying delegations, and we thank them for their continuous support to facilitate the workflow of our construction projects in Kuwait. We are proud to be here today to participate in this exhibition and support the Kuwait Aviation Show for a second time, confirming Kuwait’s ability to host global events that contribute to supporting the economy and the development of its aviation sector.”
