The reconstruction fund for Dhi Qar Governorate will award 68 projects across various sectors in the coming months, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Planning said. 

Abdul-Zahra Al-Hindawi told Zawya Projects that 170 projects were included in the fund for the current year mainly in roads, bridges, water, sewage and electricity sectors. 

He said 102 projects have been awarded, and for the remaining 68 projects, the Dhi Qar Reconstruction Fund will complete the contract award process in the coming days. 

The reconstruction fund was established in 2020 by the Iraqi Council of Ministers to support physical and social infrastructure projects across various districts of Dhi Qar Governorate.
