Today (Summer Solstice) will be the longest day in the UAE. In terms of daylight, June 21 will be 3 hours, 9 minutes longer than on December Solstice.

Residents in UAE woke up to a foggy day, with extremely high humidity on Thursday morning.

Sharing today's weather update, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM)said the day will hot to partly cloudy in general.

Some clouds will appear eastwards and may become convective by afternoon. Light to moderate wind could blow over the sea.

The relative humid will increase during the night and early morning over some coastal areas with probability of mist/fog formation.

Sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman sea.

In the morning, fog took over parts of the UAE causing visibility issues for motorists.
