Etisalat Misr records 18% YoY rise in Q3 revenues

ArabFinance: Etisalat Misr reported revenues of AED 1.07 billion (EGP 4.60 billion) during the third quarter (Q3) of 2020, according to official financial results.

The div marked a Year on Year (YoY) increase of 18% when compared to the same quarter in 2019, due to “data and wholesale segments,” the income statement indicated.

Etisalat Misr subscribers increased to 26.2 million during Q3 2020, when compared with 26 million users in the previous quarter.

The number of customers in Q3 2020, however, was less by 300,000 than the 26.5 million subscribers registered in Q3 2019, according to the statement.

Last year, the UAE company said it would invest around EGP 4.5 billion during 2020 to upgrade its 4G network services.
