Abu Dhabi: It’s that time of year again; Umm Al Emarat Park is bringing back the iconic ‘Cinema in the Park’ event for another season! Families and movie lovers are in for a special treat as they watch a new edition of box-office blockbusters on the Park’s outdoor cinema at the Children’s Garden.

Starting on 01 October and expected to run until 30 April, Cinema in the Park has an exciting line-up of back-to-back movies for the whole family such as Moana, The Croods 2, Frozen 2, The Incredibles, Big Hero 6, Harry Potter and more! Movies take place on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 5.30PM and 7.30PM, with an additional fan-picked movie on Tuesday at 5.30PM, that film-buffs vote for on the Park’s social media account.

That’s not all! While movie-goers immerse themselves in the various films, Park Rangers will be available to help children create masterpieces at the origami stations. Additionally, kids as young as two years of age can dive into the fun at the Water Splash Area or hop aboard the family-friendly train at the Promenade. Last but not least, animal lovers can head down to the Park’s Animal Barn to not only visit their favorite animal friend, but now feed them too, and little ones can also go on a fun ride-along with a camel or pony!

Guests are invited to check out the Park’s newly revamped website for details on upcoming movie schedules. For more information, please visit: http://www.ummalemaratpark.ae

About Umm Al Emarat Park

Umm Al Emarat Park is Abu Dhabi’s favorite green destination, bringing together friends and families for relaxation, exercise and play in the heart of the city. Inspired by the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (may he rest in peace) and his vision of preserving the UAE’s cultural and natural history, Umm Al Emarat Park is the lungs of the nation’s capital and one of the oldest and largest urban parks in Abu Dhabi.

Since its establishment in 1982, Umm Al Emarat Park has collaborated with local and international organizations to host events for hundreds of thousands of guests. The Park supports ‘education through recreation’ for various age groups, promoting an active lifestyle through an exciting year-round calendar of events and experiences.
