Ras Al Khaimah, UAE : The Saud Bin Saqr Foundation for Youth Enterprise Development in Ras Al Khaimah, announced launch of the third edition of the Food Village Festival which shall be held on 2nd of December, 2021 at "Mina Al Arab", to provide wide range of special activities that will offer the emirate's residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy unique experiences, that suit all family members, and shall continue until the 24th of December. The important event coincides with the celebrations of the 50th National Day and the Golden Jubilee of the United Arab Emirates, and "Expo 2020 Dubai" and hosting of 192 countries from all over the world, which enhances the position of the United Arab Emirates in general and the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in particular, as a favorite global destination for tourism and shopping, offering highest levels of security and safety to receive guests from all over the world, as well as the positive impact of boosting the domestic tourism which contribute to accelerating the growth of many sectors, including entertainment and retail.

The upcoming third edition of the Food Village Festival which is organized by Saud Bin Saqr Foundation for Youth Enterprise Development in Ras Al Khaimah with sponsorship of its strategic partners including RAK Chamber of Commerce and Industry, RAK Properties and the Ras Al Khaimah Government Media Office affirms the return to normal life and events with hosting of EXPO 2020 Dubai, and resuming activities of Ras Al Khaimah Exhibitions Centre to host exhibitions of the small and medium enterprises. The Food Village Festival shall include wide range of activities, live concerts, fireworks as well as collaboration with famous brands and grand prize draws as well as the promotional offers launched by the local and international stores, which shall give residents and visitors of Ras Al Khaimah the opportunity to enjoy exceptional experience throughout the festival period for 22 days, while boosts the Emirate’s position in festival and events industry.

His Excellency Mohamed Musabbeh Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry said “the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah continues to make innovative and creative achievements, inspired by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, with directives and support of his highness we succeeded to make a mark in the festival and events industry and to establish our position at the global level.  He added that with return of life to the normal as before COVID-19 and the openness of the UAE in general and Ras Al Khaimah in particular to the world, welcoming travelers and visitors from all over the world, we are waiting for a unique edition of “Food Village Festival”, which comes coinciding with EXPO 2020 Dubai, and the celebrations of UAE with the Golden Jubilee.  H. E. announced that intensive preparations are taking place by the festival organizing committee and the great support of the main sponsors.

The launch of the 3rd edition of the Food Village Festival confirms the position of Ras Al Khaimah as a unique safe tourism and shopping destination that is capable of welcoming everyone and at the same time offers several and diverse experiences. Al Nuaimi added.

His Excellency Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Saud Bin Saqr Foundation for Youth Enterprise Development welcomed participation of all the national establishments and companies to join sponsorship of the event, as there are four categories of sponsorship, the strategic partners including Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce, RAK Properties and Ras Al Khaimah Government Media Office, there is also the gold and silver sponsorship and the permanent sponsor for those who wish to contribute to this great event, which shall support the economic development in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and its strategy. He affirmed that there are more options at the Food Village Festival that shall enrich the shoppers’ experience, while the diversity of the events in the festival shall offer wide range of options to the visitors, adding to the third edition of the festival excitement and adventure, and making it the best time for shopping.
