Doha: The Pearl-Qatar continues to cement its position as a leading tourism and leisure destination through the increasing number of stores, restaurants and retail outlets that are setting up on the Island.

United Development Company (UDC), one of Qatar's leading public shareholding companies and the master developer of The Pearl-Qatar and Gewan Islands has announced the increase in the retail stores that opened during January and February of 2019. This demonstrates an increasing interest from leading brands in establishing a presence on The Pearl-Qatar Island.

The new business openings have translated into a steady increase in occupancy rates and leased retail space across the Island. The new rental agreements bring the total number of shops, restaurants and retail outlets across The Pearl-Qatar to 368 outlets.

These new shops include: Yousef Al Jasmi for Ladies Fashion, Liwani for Men’s Fashion, Al Aker Cuisine, Craft Burger Restaurant, Godiva Café, Origin Coffee, Blakk Coffee and Nova Venezia Café.

The new outlets feature a rich mix of brands that cater for all tastes and needs of both residents and visitors, thus cementing The Pearl-Qatar’s position as a preferred destination for luxurious living, shopping and dining, all within a single location.

Unlike most traditional shopping experiences, where visitors are restricted to indoor malls, The Pearl-Qatar offers guests an attractive outdoor experience with many shops, restaurants and cafes directly overlooking the marina.

As a leading local project, The Pearl-Qatar continues to attract an increasing number of famed brands looking to establish a presence in the promising and growing Qatari market by establishing a foothold on the Island.

The spectacular waterfront strip, home to The Pearl-Qatar’s main harbor, Porto Arabia boasts a 3.5-kilometer concourse which offers a variety of retail services at the convenience of all residents and visitors alike. Restaurants, cafes, fitness centers and other amenities are available, making Porto Arabia the place to be in The Pearl-Qatar.

Located at the heart of The Pearl-Qatar, Medina Centrale offers the exclusive recipe of residential, shopping and leisure experiences, while providing a real community feeling atmosphere.

Colorful architecture and animated surroundings make up the Venetian themed Qanat Quartier. Shops are located across the magnificent views of the canals and piazzas.

These new outlets offer The Pearl-Qatar’s residents and visitors an exquisite lifestyle experience.
