Dubai: Etisalat Beach Canteen 2021 is underway and the long weekend is packed with fun and excitement. Taking place at the Jumeirah Beach (behind Sunset Mall), this special edition of Dubai’s favorite beachside dining popup is organised by the Dubai Festivals & Retail Establishment (DFRE) as part of the UAE’s 50th National Day celebrations.

Below is a complete rundown of events that will take place over the long celebratory weekend (1 – 4 December) at the Etisalat Beach Canteen 2021.

Wednesday will kick off with Melodica Musical Performances on the Etisalat Stage Majlis and set the mood for the rest of the weekend. The performance will be followed by the beginner-friendly workshop Artistic Letters with FUN & ART which will enable guests to enjoy painting their chosen letters over at the Yalla Fun Zone.

Oola Lab’s perfume-making workshop Splash and Dash will leave participants overjoyed as they create their very own signature fragrances to celebrate the UAE’s tradition of scents in celebration of the National Day.

The list of fun and exciting events for the day will also include The Show by Mo Eltorky, which will give visitors an opportunity to meet one of the UAE’s most engaging public speakers, and multiple Saxophone performances will close out the night.

Thursday will start with The Great City Parade featuring the much-loved animated characters Modesh and Dana. Immediately afterwards, participants will have the opportunity to interact with Modesh during Modesh Meet & Greet.

The evening will include more sessions of the arts and crafts workshops Artistic Letters with FUN & ART. CZN Burak’s – The Game which had a spectacular launch at the Etisalat Beach Canteen 2021 the week before, is expected to see major participation and will be a grand highlight of the long celebratory weekend. The night will cap off with a grand display of National Day Fireworks at 9pm before Dubai-based singer and songwriter Carla and her band As Per Casper will rock the Etisalat Majlis Stage.

Friday will dawn with The Great City Parade before the fun and artistic workshop Catharsis by Art with Dana will captivate the audience. Multiple sessions of Modesh Meet & Greet along with Traditional Emirati Dance and Musical Performances will follow throughout the afternoon and keep the audience hooked. The evening will see another run of the workshops Artistic Letters with FUN & ART and Tie Dye & Ink Workshops by Meraki Studio for those interested in bringing out their inner artist as well as a musical performance by the artist Mohamed Samih and his band who will be closing the evening with a spectacular musical performance of Arabic tunes.

On Saturday, a soulful display of Saxophone and Trumpet by Carlos will get things going. This will be followed by The Great City Parade, Modesh Meet & Greet, and another SMCCU-organised workshop, this time on Henna Making and Presentation. SMCCU will also offer free henna art from 4 - 7 pm at the Etisalat Majlis Stage for interested guests.

The afternoon and evening will once again include workshops Artistic Letters with FUN & ART as well as multiple sessions of Traditional Emirati Dance & Musical Performances to keep the audience positively engaged.

Etisalat Beach Canteen will be open until12am from 30 November to 4 December in celebration of UAE National Day.
